Elizabeth Ann (Stich) Lane

Liz Attended elementary schools and high school in Mpls and Little Falls.

Joined the convent at St. Scholastica after high school. Betty, as her family called her, Liz to non-family , taught elementary school in Aitkin MN and pursued her doctorate in philosophy which she achieved. She then became the head of the Philosophy Dept at St. Scholastica in Duluth MN where she taught for so many years.

Liz married Warren Lane after retiring and they lived in her home in Duluth. Liz was widowed in 2016.

In 2018 Liz began living at the Wellstead of Rogers in Rogers MN where she enjoyed family, friends, activities and walks.

Her siblings consist of Robert(deceased), Richard and Patricia.

 A prayer service will be held for Liz May 1st, 2026 4:30PM with visitation starting 1 hour prior at Dare’s Funeral Home
