Duane "Red" Lien

Age 91, 0f Elk River, MN (formerly of Wadena, MN).  Passed away on September 10, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara (Erickson) Lien; daughter, Mara Jo Lien; siblings, Janet Niskanen and Orland Lien.

Duane is survived by his beloved wife of 63+ years, Mary Lou; son, Dennis (Leslie) Lien; daughters, Krista (Chuck) Potter and Melissa (Ken) Jordan; grandchildren, Brady, Bennett, Preston, and Mara; siblings, Karen Kaczor and Pam Eisenreich; nieces, nephews, Mary Lou’s family, and a host of friends.

Duane led a full 91 years of life!  He was a devoted husband and father, so committed to his family, friends, and his community.

Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Church of St. Andrew, 566-4th St NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
