Douglas passed away surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Gilbert and Donna Mueller.

Attended high school Milwaukee, graduated with a bachelor's degree in restaurant/hotel management from WCTC.  It led him to the career he loved, owning a Culver's Franchise.

Married the girl of his dreams Victoria, they wed in March of 1993.

Doug's first love was his family, his second love was fishing and time spent with his friends on his boat or theirs. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, walking his dogs and a good glass of whiskey.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; proud father of Tony (Amanda), Jake (girlfriend Kim); big brother to sister Karen (Chuck); and grandpa to 3 amazing grandchildren, Alaina, Carter and Morgan; including many friends and colleagues.

Waiting in heaven for Douglas are his parents; In laws; grandparents; aunts; uncles; fishing buddies; and a few fur babies.

Douglas was known for his smile and friendly embraces. He was generous with his time and knowledge, mentoring many throughout his life.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and his hospice nurse for the dignified care he received.

A Memorial Service will be held at Dare's Funeral Home, Elk River, MN. The Mueller family will receive visitors at the funeral home October 25th from 10:00 to 12:00 with service to follow.
