Donovan Paul Gobel

Donovan Paul Gobel, beloved son of Jon and Stacey (Kunstleben) Gobel, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. He was born in Coon Rapids on February 27, 2007.

He was a student at Elk River High School, having recently completed his Junior year. Donovan had a zest for life, finding joy in fishing, BMX racing, driving, and spending time with his family and friends. Known for his big heart, he cared deeply for everyone and everything around him, though he maintained a strong exterior.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Darlene Kunstleben.

Donovan will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Jon and Stacey Gobel; best friend and brother, Cameron Gobel; grandparents, Timothy and Virgina Gobel; aunt, Krystal Gobel; Godparents, Justin and Becky Kunstleben; and many great-aunts, great-uncles, other family and numerous friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service at 5:00 PM, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN.
