Diane Rose (Murn) Hodel

Diane Rose Hodel, age 82 of Elk River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025. She was born July 6, 1943 in St. Cloud, MN.

Diane enjoyed her career at Cornelius for many years constructing pop machines. She enjoyed shopping and uncovering the best deals. Family brought Diane her greatest happiness, especially her grandchildren. Her kindheartedness and faithfulness will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, John and Rose (Schueller) Murn; and siblings, Kathy, Pat, Joey.

Diane is survived by her loving sons, Scott (Stacy), Jason; grandchildren, Sean, Brittany, Kendra, Cassandra; great-grandchildren, Donald, Toryn, William, Thomas, Benjamin; siblings, Jack, Rosanne, Denise; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN. Family burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN.
