Delores "Dodie" (Christian) Gallagher

Delores M. “Dodie” Gallagher, age 83 of St. Michael, formerly of Elk River, passed away surrounded by her family on September 12, 2025.  She was born on May 27, 1942. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Shorty and Eva Christian; her devoted husband of 61 years, Mike. 

She is survived by children, Shelly (John) Pratt, Todd Gallagher, Corey (fiancée Roxana Bird and her son Chad) Gallagher, Casey (Melissa) Gallagher; grandchildren, Joshua (Casey) Pratt and Madelyn Gallagher; great-grandson, Kairo Pratt; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. 

Dodie was a unique lady and if you met her, you likely will not forget her.  Rest in peace mom. 

The Family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at The Legacy of St. Michael and St. Croix Hospice.  Our family will be forever grateful for the kindness and care they provided our mom. 

Memorials preferred to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Elk River.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM, with visitation beginning 9:30 AM, at the Church of Saint Andrew, 566 4th St NW, Elk River, MN. Burial following at St. Andrew Cemetery in Elk River, MN.
