Colette Faye (Deans) Meyer

Age 64, of Elk River.  Passed on Aug 1, 2020.

Born July 20, 1956 in Robbinsdale, MN.  She grew up in Champlin, MN and Graduated from Anoka High School.

Colette was a wonderful, loving and caring Mother.  A devoted, strong, loving wife for 25 years.  She was beautiful inside and out.  She always had a great smile.  She was always known to joke around.  She had the biggest, kindest heart.  She was kind, Loving, generous, selfless, funny and quite a spitfire.  She truly was one of a kind.

Colette worked very hard all of her life.  She worked as a dispatcher for 26 years and later in life she worked at Walmart in Customer Service and loved it!  She loved people!  She made many friends over the years!

Colette enjoyed going to Stillwater with her daughter & friends, shopping, taking road trips with her friends and loved taking motor cycle rides! She always wanted her own bike!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Millicent Deans; brother, John (Tom) Deans.

Colette is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Nicki Lee Deans (Rich); siblings, Doug (Debbie) Deans, Greg Deans and Karen Hart (Pete); sister-in-law, Laura Deans; nephews, Jason Deans, Jeremy Deans and Christopher Hart; nieces, Jessica Deans and Joey Deans, cousins and other family and friends.

A funeral is planned for 1:00PM on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 at Grace Fellowship, 8601-101st Avenue North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.  A luncheon will follow the service at Akin Riverside Park, 1721 River Avenue Anoka, MN 55303.
