Bruce Graham Obituary

Bruce Alan Graham, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Rogers on Monday, March 15.

Bruce was born December 23, 1952, in Minneapolis, MN, to Myrtle and Lloyd Graham. Bruce grew up in Excelsior, MN, and he had many fond memories growing up around Lake Minnetonka.

Bruce married Lois (Beneke) on April 23, 1977, and he was a devoted husband for almost 44 years. They had two daughters, Katie and Jackie. Bruce spent most of his career in sales. Being a born storyteller and fiercely independent, he was the ultimate salesman.

Growing up, Bruce played a variety of sports including little league baseball, football, hockey, and wrestling. After high school he played in multiple softball leagues. He passed on his competitive spirit to his daughters and was the biggest fan of his daughter’s and grandchildren’s passions. He enjoyed pheasant hunting with his hunting buddies and Brittany dogs. In the summer, you would find Bruce on his boat enjoying the lake with his family. An avid waterskier, he taught his girls to swim and waterski as well and found great joy in towing his kids over the perfect wave.

Bruce is survived by his wife Lois, daughters Katie (Kyle) LaPointe and Jackie (Bryce) Howitson, grandchildren Nolan LaPointe, Sarah LaPointe, and Hailey Howitson, sister Sharron (Rollie) Stohl, brother Gary (Lois) Graham; father-in-law, Glen Beneke; sister-in-law Susan (Allan) Debner, brother-in-law Dale Beneke, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Myrtle Graham, mother-in-law Lora Beneke, sister Sandra Forman, sister-in-law Sarah Beneke, and niece Caroline Lines.
