Ashley Erin Gamm



Ashley Erin Gamm of Zimmerman, MN, passed away tragically at the age of 40, on May 27th, 2024. Ashley was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, friend, girlfriend, and teacher.

Ashley was born January 9th, 1984, in Coon Rapids, MN. She grew up and settled in the Elk River and Zimmerman area, graduating from Elk River Area High School in 2002. In her younger years, Ashley enjoyed riding her bike with her friends and babysitting for people in her neighborhood. Inspired by her love of children, Ashley obtained her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen University after high school.

More recently, Ashley was best known for her kindness, humility, contagious smile, and sense of humor. Ashley enjoyed being on the lake, cheering on her kids’ sports, shopping and decorating, cooking, holidays, her two dogs, Lucy and Armour, and spending time with her close friends, family, and boyfriend, Travis Wibeto. Above all, Ashley adored being a mom to her two children, Jackson and Adley.

Ashley was a beloved teacher at Prairie Hill Montessori school in Zimmerman, MN, since December 2016. Prior to Prairie Hill, she worked at Tinkertown Daycare in Zimmerman, MN, for over a decade. She adored teaching and her students held a special place in her heart.  

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents Grace and George Gamm, and Joyce (Hudson) Norell and Duane Hudson. She is survived by her children, Jackson and Adley Belanger; parents, Leland and Rebecca Gamm; sister, Gretchen (Jordan) Hoffmann; and many loving relatives and friends.
