Anthony “Tony” Ybarra
Devoted husband, loving father and grandfather
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Ybarra on May 5, 2020 at the age of 66.
Tony was a talented, self-taught musician. As his friend played records over the phone, Tony listened to the notes, and taught himself to play the guitar. He had a passion for music, a love for classic cars and motorcycles, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
Above all else, Tony was a protector. He was strong so that others did not need to be. Over the past 26 years, he fought an often times painful battle with diabetes. Despite feeling unwell most days, he went to work so that he could provide for his family and had just recently retired on May 1.
Those who knew Tony would agree that he was a charming, outgoing and loving man. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Paula; sons, Michael and his wife, Nicole and Steven and his wife, Brittany; daughter, Katie; two grandchildren, Christian and Keira; nine brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
