Anthony M. Mills

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Dare’s Funeral Home in Elk River, Minnesota for Anthony M. Mills, age 70 of Ramsey, Minnesota who passed away on December 17, 2024. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Luncheon to follow.

Tony was born on September 18, 1954, in Colchester, UK and was adopted by Kenneth and Marie (Bailey) Mills. At the age of 20 Limey moved from the UK to Texas, where he later met the love of his life, Nancy. They were married on July 21, 1989, and went on to have a beautiful family. They lived in Texas for 20 years before moving to Minnesota. He worked as a Machinist for Halliburton for 17 years and then rms for 15 years.

Tony enjoyed fishing and his favorite place to go deep sea fishing was on the Texas side of the Gulf of Mexico. He had a strong work ethic and believed in the value of hard work. He was a fixer, if he put his mind to it, he could build or fix anything. He was a gifted fabricator, craftsmen, and carpenter. He loved gardening, football Sunday, going out to eat, having BBQ’s and watching his children participate in sports growing up. Anthony was dependable and always showed up for the people he loved. He will be remembered for his kind, giving, sentimental, and strong-willed nature. He could light up a room and was a friend you would want to have. Above all he deeply cherished the time spent with his family. He was a bright light in so many lives and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy; children, Chris (Alison), Chad (Kacie), David (Misty), and Kayla (Brandon); 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his dogs, Sadie and Thor and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association in memory of Tony.
