Anna was born on September 12,1932 to Margaret (Knutson) and John Christianson in Tony, Wisconsin. Anna grew up in the Blue Hills area of NW Wisconsin; she graduated from Birchwood High School in 1951.
Anna married the love of her life, Vernon (Bud) Plain on September 1, 1951, at the groom’s birthplace, the home of Bud’s Grandmother in Cameron, Wisconsin. They moved to St. Paul, MN in the mid 1950’s when Bud took a job at Glendenning Trucking. Subsequently, Bud and Anna moved to Circle Pines, and then to Lino Lakes where they lived for many years. Anna was a stay-at-home Mom until their children were older when she took a job at The Arsenal in Shoreview, and after Bud’s passing, she worked at Ball Electronics in Lino Lakes. Bud and Anna bought a lake home outside of Spooner, WI where they spent many happy times.
Anna loved nature. She loved watching the deer and watching and feeding all birds; her favorites were hummingbirds, cardinals and blue birds. She had beautiful flower gardens and plants in her homes.
