Alan (Al) Thomas Miller of Zimmerman MN passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 14, 2023.

Alan was born on June 7th, 1959, to Thomas Miller and Betty Lefavor in Aitken MN. He graduated from Elk River High School in 1977. He joined the Armed Forces in 1980 and served in the Army National Guard and Active Duty Army until 1985. He was an active member of the Zimmerman American Legion Post 560 and served on the Legion Color Guard for many years.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Thomas Miller and Betty Lefavor. Grand Parents Lloyd and Jean Francis and Ray and Edith Miller.

Alan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol Miller; sisters, Karen and Chriss; brothers, Steven and Thomas Jr.; stepchildren, Chad and Christine McGuire; grandchildren, Tyler McGuire and Haylee Merta; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Alan’s life will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, from 1 PM - 3 PM in the lower level of the Zimmerman American Legion Post 560, 13674 Fremont Street.
