Age 97 of Elk River, MN. Took Jesus’ hand and passed into eternal life on July 26, 2019.  Survived by loving husband, Harold (Bud); son, Tom Carter (Barb); daughter, Judy Gimbel; son, Steven (Connie); 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Vivian was a tireless worker.  She loved her years as a waitress at the Elk River Café, cashier at George Dietz Supermarket and as a mom & pop partner in Adams Furniture and Flooring for over 40 years.  She accomplished all of this while serving her church in many ways and maintaining a spotless home and garden. Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2019 5-8 PM at Dare’s Funeral Home 805 Main St. NW Elk River, MN. And Saturday, August 3, 2019, 1 hour prior to the 11 AM service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 1506 Main St. NW Elk River, MN.  Private interment at a later date.  Memorial donations, if you wish to Guardian Angels Care Center, Elk River.
