Mary E. (Froehle) Femrite

Age 63, of Zimmerman, MN, unexpectedly passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 12th 2020.

She will be deeply cherished and missed by her husband of 33 years Cary Femrite, her son Matt and daughter Melissa, as well as her siblings, Fran, Greg, Teresa, Lucy, Anne and Gina. 

Mary grew up in Little Canada, MN, went to college at SCSU and Hennepin Community College. Then she moved to Zimmerman with her husband. Following 2 years in Anoka, Cary and Mary moved to a small lake home east of Zimmerman. 

She spent 40 years of her career as a respiratory therapist at The University of Minnesota Medical Center, and was known as a hard worker, team player and a positive presence by her coworkers. She treated many people with cystic fibrosis and saved lives.

Mary’s preferred place was spending the days and evenings in their yard, beach and firepit area. She and Cary spent much time taking care of their paradise (The Oasis). Her best trips involved family boating, camping, and skiing The Rockies. They relished walking the beaches of Florida, Mexico and Grand Cayman with Kurt and Anita Binnie.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Living Waters Church, 21246 Meadowvale Road NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 1:00PM.
