Lloyd E. Sandeen

Lloyd Edward Sandeen 89, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Survived by his wife, Kathryn of 55 years; his daughters, Stephanie (Dan) McCool and Sheryl Sandeen; 3 very proud grandchildren (Matt, Payton and Kayla); his sisters, Donna (Wayne) Modeen and Marge Smith along with a large extended family and close friends. Preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Kristin; parents, Carl and Bernice (Stromwall) and sister, Betty (Werckman).

Lloyd was born and raised in Milaca MN, he proudly served in the US Army Infantry during the Korean War and worked loyally for NSP Union #160 (Xcel Energy) for 37 years.  He was an avid reader, storyteller and joke teller, everyone loved his jokes. He will be dearly missed, but he will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3  2019, 3 PM at Elk River Lutheran Church 729 Main St. NW Elk River, MN. 55330 with visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Lunch will follow the service.  There will be a private burial at a later date, memorials at donor’s choice.  Arr.
