Duphane "Duffy" Hanson Obituary

of Otsego, MN (formerly of Columbia Heights), passed away on April 7, 2019 in Elk River, MN at the age of 80 and is now at peace.

Duffy was born October 29, 1938 in Columbia Heights, MN to Herman and Margaret Hanson.

Duffy enjoyed being outdoors; loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends at Farm Island Lake and in Aitkin. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle and friend.

Duffy is preceded in death by his siblings, Jim (Joyce), Karen and niece Tina.

He is survived by his devoted wife Joanne; children Brian, Mark and Jeff (Cheryl), Teresa, Susan (Ray), John (Kris); grandchildren Michelle, Jordan, Joe, Alaina, Taylor, Derek, Matthew, Crystal, Lacey, Jake, Logan, Tehya; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Lou (Tom) and nieces/nephews Deb, Scott, Denise, Dawn, Randy, Heather and Donald.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13th at Rockwoods Grill & Events, 9100 Quaday Ave NE, Otsego MN; with visitation starting at 12:30 PM.

Duffy's life will continue to be celebrated directly following the service.
