Donald W. Hesse

Donald W. Hesse, Jr. (Donnie) passed away July 10, 2019 from leukemia.  He was 57 years young.

He moved from Plummer MN to Elk River MN in 1989.  In 2002, he met his wife Jackie at the Sunshine Depot and they shared many wonderful years in Elk River until retiring to Nisswa MN in October 2018. 

Donnie was a proud Local 512 Ironworker for 30+ years and some would say a “jack of all trades”.  One of his favorite pastimes was chopping down old trees and then building fires.  He had a deep passion for hunting and fishing.  His motto was “no time, no time” because he never had enough time in a day to do all the things he wanted to do.  Donnie was a good, kind and loyal man...  

Donnie is survived by his wife, Jackie; son, Brian (ex-Keri;) grandson, Kinder; granddaughter, Kylie; mother, Loretta; sister, Pam (Bill), sister Linda (Neil); nephew, Chris; niece Coral; brother, Tom (Teresa); nieces, Rachel and Katie; nephew, Sam; with extended family from Minnesota and Washington State and his best friend Richard Fehn (Richie).
